Personal Biography
Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif is half Indian and half British as her father was from Kashmir, India and her mother was English. One of the eight siblings, Katrina Kaif got a kick start in her career right in the age of 14 when she got modeling assignments for jewelery products. Before jumping into the Indian film industry she continued modeling in London and in year 2003 Katrina got her breakthrough in Bollywood with hindi film Boom. On the Indian soil Katrina got various modeling assignments from brands like LG, Lakme and Veet but the filmmakers were initially hesitant in offering her film roles due to the linguistic problems. Gradually overcoming the language shortcomings, Katrina has raised to the top ladder of name and fame in Bollywood. The list of successful films by Katrina features Yuvvraaj (08), Race ('08), Singh is Kinng ('08) and Namastey London ('07) and she has also performed in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies as well. Due to the head-turning beauty and cute expressive face, Katrina has earned lots of laurels like: most searched Indian celebrity on Google ('08), voted as Asia's sexiest woman ('08) and also voted at the no. 1 sport in FHM's India's 100 sexiest women in world poll.
